I bought a good shape dash pad from a junk yard which came off of the 89 Camaro, and guess wat it was 1.5 inches shorter then mine, now i am stuck with the part which i paid 70$ for, that sucks, plus i got a top vent from a 87 Iroc, i have to force the top vent in, its sits in solid i can't move the thing up or down, Gm *******s, they could of wait until 93, to change everything and keep 82-92 Camaros the same, i know year to year changes better now 91-92 is different from 82-89, "90 has a different interior", interior and some exterior wise why did Gm came up with the stupid idea like that change few things i am sure Firebirds like tht too, Even t Tops are different, i put t tops on my Camaro from 84 Z, because plastic were gay and they were leakin, Those t tops fitted in and latched, but they still look weired though good news though they don't leak in rain, doesn't look wright still, original plastic t tops brand new will run me for about 1600$ at a Chevy Dealership rip off, its wat it is

That's interesting because I have the dash pad from my old '84 SC in my '91 RS. The only dash pad size difference I know of is between the camaro and firebirds and IIRC it's the depth (front to back, not side to side). Also, a firebird dash pad wont' have a notch for the center vents like a camaro does either.

I'm thinking you got a firebird pad for your camaro.

you used 20 commas and no periods. Don't you think that makes your post a little difficult for people to read?

I have the pad from my old 89 in my 91 with no problems. You must have a bird pad my friend.

just look in the middle to see if it has the indents for the air vents or not. If it doesn't then you got a pad from a bird

If you think you have it bad, I have a 5.0 TPI motor. (Engine Code F) It is actually listed by GM and Pontiac as a 1991 1/2 to 1992 option. So as far as getting, say, spark plugs other than stock, FORGET IT! It was a one year engine and so not many aftermarket parts were made. So far my best source for replacement parts has actually been my local Pontiac dealer. I suggest you get chummy with your parts person there, they can be of great help. (It is what I have done.)

The small block chevy engine has been around since 1955.... it isn't hard to get any parts for your 5.0L TPI engine. Get generic plugs, set gap, install. What parts have you had trouble finding?

Engine code F is an LB9 V8. There were literally hundreds of thousands made from 85 thru 92.

hmm...so you've been getting all OEM parts? Are you sure they just aren't saying that to rip you off or something?
