Airbrush for touch up?

I know that car dealers use companies that come out and custom mix paint on sight and touch up chips, scratches etc.

Anyone using an airbrush for these types of repairs?

well at the body shop i work at, when we get bad runs or spots we missed due to tape or something like that, we mix the paint in a little touch up bottle and hook it up to a little air brush that attaches to our air hose and shoot it. It works great for tight spaces like up in door jambs and such. but i am not sure about what those dealers use.

still kinda leaves a flat kinda look around what ever your painting though... gotta buff the crap out of it to kinda make it look ok but doesnt look great. for any airbrushing i do i use a badger dual action brush cost about 150$ on ebay. if your going to buy an air brush just make sure its a dual action where you can control paint amount and air amount, and get a good compressor. and its kinda hard to match a paint that has faded too.
