battery tray

I was checking up on the condition of my 86 bird, and found that the battery had been leaking acid and it has ate several large holes in the battery tray. I have two fenders and doors from a 92 in perfect condition. The 92 was hit in the back. Should I try to patch this in with some sheet metal or do they make a replacement tray? I have checked all of my parts books, and I haven't found one. Does anyone know where to get one. I would like to fix this one the best way I can. I have also bought all new lights from year one and a complete weatherstripping kit from hawks.

It says it's discontinued. You could probably fab something up from sheet metal and weld it in there.
