rear trunk panel

Is the rear trunk panel different for cars with pull-down motors? Basically what I need to know is will a panel from an early 3rdgen fit a later 3rd gen with a pull down motor.

thanks

No, the ones for the pull down are shorter, due to the clearence necessary for the pull down assembly. 82-85 will interchange, and 86-92 interchange.

Some of the 1982-85 panels also had a slot for an alignment pin. Not all slam hatch latches had this alignment pin.
