Removing 87 GFX

I have a problem, I take out every single screw except for a couple. I took out the screws behind the emblem and everything in and underneath the door jamb. So it's loose now, and I'm looking for the last screws to take out.

So I start taking apart all of the interior(btw, seats are out) taking off everything on the door jamb, but that interior with the speakers goes all the way into the trunk so I must be doing something wrong. Or Am I? Thanks

I thought this would have been answered right away. I've searched and found a few that have explained this but i'm still confused as to where the last screws are and how I get to them. I really am taking apart the whole interior just to find them. Tell me if this won't help, please!

theres a set of screws under the car that attach the GFX did you get those as well as the ones when you open the door, plus there might be one that ties into the wheel well and the two screws behind the emblem on the front section of the GFX. Taking apart your interior is not how to get the GFX off, do yourself a favor and buy the fbody CD, www.FBODYCD.com complete exploded view diagrams on how to pull that car apart

It's funny that you say that because I took off the interior and found the nut, 11mm, wd40 and the job is done, the gfx are off. There must be three ways to do this or something, but when you take off the rear seatbelt plastic, there's a foam covering that you can rip out, squeeze your hand through and the nut is right there. It was easy. Taking off the lower part interior without touching the speaker and trunk interior took a bit of finesse.

I'm having this problem on my 86 right now. The rear of the side skirts seams anchored from the inside. What did you have to take off to get it?

I believe there are two nuts inside to remove. For the passenger side, you remove the spare tire cover and spare tire, you can see the nuts inside the rear quarter panel. Drivers side is the same, except you have to pull away the much larger interior plastic
