im thinking about putting these in my 91 t/a, i know, i know, they're *****, but due to welding (even with a mask) for the past few years, it makes my gauge cluster kind of hard to se at night, and these things are cheap enough to buy, i figured i might give it a shot.

oh, and for those of you who have installed them, how hard were they to put in?
thanks a lot,
mike

See I hate the white faces but would like to see some custom gauges. Maybe the back of it lights up green or something, I don't know...just not liking those white backgrounds...

I really like them. Makes them alot easier on eye during the day. However they don't help at all at night. Its actually harder to see at night. I just have the overlays so thats part of the reason. I imagine the real white guages would be brighter.

i have 2 leds inside of mine so it looks great when im showin my car off but they turn on wit the rest of my lights so i still have the bright white back guages. bought em on ebay. i got the climate control, guages, shifter selecter for like $20, kinda pricy but its worth it, will have better pics up soon

I'm shure its because of my overlays. The light has to shine throught both the old guages and the new overlays. They do light up blue though I would grab a night pic but I forgot to bring my camera back to school.

I have the overlays, and the only time i have a little trouble reading them just before dark. It's still light enough that the white shows up, and the markings when illuminated just aren't quite bright enough over the whiteness.

I have the brightness cranked up though, so when it's completely dark I have no problems with it.
