There are some tin nuts on the backside that you need to remove. I've had the best luck using needle nose pliers down inside the hollow nut area, but I'm sure there's a better way.

I think he means the top of the door panel to the door, not the trim to the panel. To get the panel off the door its kinda tricky, especially if someone has bent the tabs on the door, you kind of have to push hard on the panel and then bring it down a little to clear the tabs then pull it up, start at the back of the door and go foward.

The fuzzy strip is attached to the large black plastic part on the top of the door panel that I talked about above. I don't remember specifically how the fuzzy strip is attached to the plastic bar, but I'd imagine it's either screwed or riveted. To replace that, you won't need to remove the big plastic piece from the door panel.

See my original instructions then. That's the piece I told you how to remove in my first post. Turn your door panel over and look at the back side and it'll be obvious what needs to be done to remove them.

Yes. It's part of the door panel. Take it all off the car, turn it over and you'll see how it's attached.

FWIW,
To remove the panel from the door:
You kind of have to smack it gently along it's length while pushing up on the panel for the tabs to clear, but be careful not to break it because it's probably brittle now from age.
