Car Motorsports offers a premium line of carpet that is of better quality, but is does cost more. It's also available with a rubber backing similiar to what came on the factory carpet. After a lot of looking/reading, this is what I ended up ordering.

A search here will turn up a lot of info on this topic. I read through a lot of posts before settling on Car Motorsports.

I requested samples from carmotorsports and received them today. Looks like the samples came straight from the factory. Two samples are marked ACS/Dorsett 800 series.

The samples you got, the 800 series, are the same quality as everyone else sells, the ACS/Dorsett or ACC, I have samples of both from different suppliers. I also have samples of the Premium line Car Motorsports sells, and the labels on them are Essex Series/Carpet by Dorsett. This is a noticeably thicker, richer carpeting when comparing the samples side by side. This is what I ordered, but it does cost more. I was also getting matching floor mats and a t-top bag, both with custom embroidery, so that was another reason I ordered from them. You may want to call them and specifically request the premium carpet samples, that is what I did and requested specific colors while I was at it.

I'm a dealer for both ACC and the ACS carpet, so I've got a ton of samples of both. I've also unfortunately got the ACC carpet in my GTA. The reason I decided to start dealing ACS is because the ACC stuff is so bad that I couldn't bring myself to sell it. Even the ACS 800 series is a huge improvement over the ACC stuff.
