ok my 84 has that little spoiler (all i know is that on the corners its like plastic or something and one of mine is about to break off) so is there a way to remove the whole spoiler or would it look ok with just the side corners taken off?

 

If you remove it you have to fill holes. I would just replace the piece that needs fixed.
