Rear Quarter Pannel Replacement?

Does anyone make Aftermarket rear quarter pannels for a 88 firebird?

Mine are so rusted out from the top of the wheel wells down that it is beyond repair

As I understand it, the best you can do is find a donor car and cut those pieces off and weld em on to your car.

but they are all rusty as well

Are the rear quarter pannels just part of the body or is there spot welds that you can just drill out somwhere and pop it off?

lol. It took my brother and buddy 5 hours to get one off. I think their drill bit was dull or something but it is no easy task. www.Shermanparts.com sells them.

On replacement panels you have to question thier quality.Check with TGO sponsor Hawks, the link is at the top of the page. You can still get NORS full quarters but they aren't cheap(run in the $450 to $750).Looking in the J-yards is an option but up North where you are a car is lucky to make it to a J-yard with any useable body panels.Biggest killer is shipping on something this size.

It's all a unibody, everything from the door back is all attached to one frame.

I'm pretty sure you can get just the skin, but it depends of how bad the rust is. If it is just on the skin, check out that www.shermanparts.com. The are just over 100 dollars. I dunno about 450 bux that seems just a little bit high.
