Mounting a digital Camera?
I just got the idea to mount my digital camera in my car(82 TA) for Auto-x. The camera is a Canon PowerShot A250. It's not ideal for recording, but it will help. I'm not really sure how to go about mounting it though. Any ideas?

Find a bolt that will screw into the hole at the bottom of the camera. Then, mark where you want it to mount, take the dash off, drill a hole in the spot, insert the bolt where the threads are coming out of the dash, and then use a nut to keep it from going back through. I would use washers on both sides too so it would have less of cracking the dash and falling back through. Then you could simply screw the camera on the dash and you would also be able to turn the camera easily.
Or if you would want a less permanent solution, some strong velcrow(sp?) or magnetic strips on the bottom of the camera and dash could work.
Edit: Im assuming that bottom hole has threads, if not, u could take apart a stand that u can buy from the camera(which is why that hole is there) and use the same principle as the bolt idea.
