I have heard that T-tops are adjustable. I know a guy around here that can adjust them in about 1/2 hour and they won't leak, he even says that most of the time you don't need new seals, just an adjustment to stop the leaking. Maybe you should try a local body shop and see if they can adjust them for you.

Body shop - snotty shop

Take the pillar trim pieces out and youll see the reciever things, 2 screws a piece

Move em up/down to make the t-top pull down slightly when you latch it

Next readjust your window to fit right

Winders leak at the upper rear and where the front of the t-tops meets the windshield pillar

Takes bout 10 mins if you dont have to adjust the winder

mine leak on the inside front corner on the passsenger side and nowhere else. can adjusting the t top fitment fix it? ive checked my allignments and they seem to be pretty accurate on the in and out as well as the up and down so i dont think it is that but ive been known to be wrong i just dont want to make it worse....but am on a tight budget with tryin to get my 383 stroker in by august so dont want to take it somewhere that will sharge me alot to mess with it unless it doesnt cost that much. does anyone have any idea the cost to have a body shop mess with it? thanx

It's a trial and error process, try it pour some water on it and adjust as needed.

I would just adjust them a bit at a time and check for leaks. Never mind, so yours are leaking where the glass sits into the t-top bar? I just re read your problem and is this correct? I filled in the gap at the front and rear of the t-top bar with some black silicone.

Well it won't hurt to try, adjusting them pulls the glass closer to the seal. If they still leak, remove the headliner, have someone pour some water on the top and see exactally where they are leaking from and go from there.

the headliner is already off....and the best place i came up with that the leak is coming from is that front inside corner on the passenger side and if you take the t top off there is a small spot on the inside where that other black piece is u can see the water. there was a small cut on the inside water trough in that corner i sealed it but dont know if it is fixed yet but it wasnt cut all the way through. it does pull down abit when i latch the t top but i'll try tomorrow and see if i can tighten it down a little more.

These T-Tops are a bad design in the first place, even repalcing the seals doesn't always fix the problems. A little trial and error, and some silicone will eventually fix the leak. Good luck and I hope you get to the leak.

Don't give up, my car had made me frustrated SOOOOOOOOOOO many times I wanted to cry. Cover it up until the rain stops and try, try, try again. I am a persistant person and would rather figure it out my self than to pay someone. In just less than one year I got into third gens I can almost take one completely apart and put back together again like nothing. Good luck but whatever you decide to do hope it works for you.

well i think i figured out my problem which is i didnt pull out the middle black bar and its gettin in under there plus mine is pretty rusty so i will get a better one and new seals again and have someone fix it so i can blame someone when it goes wrong. its gonna cost me a little bit but at least i wont have to worry about it anymore. i found someone to put it in for 175 and i'll have to buy parts too but hes the only one in my area that says he can do it. everyone else says they think they can do it and i say i dont think so scooter. but thanx
