4th Gen T top holder

Would the third gen tops fit in this holder? Or are our tops too long? I have access to one and thought of getting it. It's just two peices at the bottom of the well, but I'm pretty sure 4th gen tops are bigger than 3rd...thanks.

I'm pretty sure that the curvatures of our tops are different from the 4th gens.

I imagine with some time I could make a holder out of aluminum on the Bridgeport milling machine in my shop. I could probably do it all out of a solid chunk and just do it for both sides instead of plastic like the 4th gens.

typically going shop rate is $45 to $50 an hour, plus the cost of materials. I really don't know what exactly I would charge for it, but since I don't have 3rd gen t-tops on the formula I don't have anything to run a baseline test on.

You would also have to figure out a way to mount the holder.

Well I would be interested in doing it I can use the trunk on the formula for test mounting, I just don't have t-tops to find the correct curve and angle to make the slots.

the 4th gen ones dont work. i had a set and i had to mod the hell ot of em to get it close to fitting. it would be easier to just make something instead of tring to mod 4th gen ones. our t tops are much much bigger than 4th gens and the curvature is way different.
