Gauge Measurements
Alright so I have begun fabbing my mounting panel for my new gauges. I havent gotten them yet but would like to pre drill/cut the holes for them to fit in. My question is, if the gauge description is 3-1/8 in; thats diameter that they need to drop into correct? So I should cut a hole 3-1/8?

Iwould find the manufacturer of the gauges and find out what they reccomemnd. If you cut a hole that is too small then all you gotta do is dremal it out a little bit. IF the hole is too big then you might not like the way it looks. WHat brand of gauges are you using? I have made quite a few gauge panels for my car so I can help you out if needed
