Does anyone know of any companys that make fiberglass front fenders? I need to replace at least one of mine, and i'd like to go with fiberglass if possible.

up22.com I wouldnt go with fibergalss, steel fenders arent really that heavy and you won't hardly feel any difference in the steel as compared to the fiberglass. Just my $.02

If you notice, the front bumper mounts to the fenders. The fenders are what provides the rigidty and holds the bumpers on beacuse it (the bumper) is not attached anywhere else. Fiberglass would most likely crack if it had to support the weight of the bumper. I have looked for fiberglass and carbon fiber front and rear fenders and have found nothing.

I think you have to buy a whole new front clip to go fiberglass, don't you? And one fiberglass fender with one steel one may throw the car off a little bit.

there are companies out there and it wouldn't hurt anything. fit and finish would be another question though as it would take some work i'm sure no matter where you get them. they wouldn't be worth the expense.

$700 for the full clip....thats actually not too bad.

My only question though, how do you mount it to the car? Does it use the stock hangers, or does it require some kind of fabrication like full framed race cars have?
