Any differece between the 82-92 Camaro, C4 Vette, and El Camino power mirrors?

I'm buying a "kit" to add the stock power locks and windows to my car and the guy I'm buying it from said that the wiring for the mirrors would be included since it's all one deal just no mirros and switches. I was actually thinking about doing this anyway since my driver mirror won't stay put. I know that the 3rd Gen Camaros, C4 Vettes, and whatever years of El Camino have the shame shaped mirror, but are they all the same with the wires and screws and all that? If they are it would be easier to find a set of red mirrors since then I won't have to take all the stuff out of them and get the insides painted to match my car.

Even the inside parts from a thirdgen powered mirror won't fit in a non-powered thirdgen mirror. Different mounting bolt locations for the glass. Better off finding a used thirdgen power mirror.

Are the plugs the same on the heated ones too?

even if the plug is different on the heated one it just takes a quick look at a schematic to make it work!

indeed. they are a little different from my past experience but just cut both ends of the pug away from the car harness and you now have what you need to use them. just wire the mirrors in with the defroster curciut and your good to go.

Alright. I don't think I'll have to worry about it now though, it looks like I might be getting the red mirrors from an 89 Trans Am with the rest of the stuff for a little extra.
