Am i waisting my time?
I know it won't be much, but i want to convert my power windows and door locks to manual to save some weight... Ain't it great that all of the cool websites have power converter kits? I still can't find i manual setup for either! I'm also one of those who hate creature comforts: Ac PW PDL PHatch PSV ATrans. They're all gone but the locks and windows. So, am i waisting my time by trying to do this? I mean cut weight is cut weight, right?

Use the bathroom before you drive the car and you'll be better off.
Power window motors can't be a pound each, and the lock actuators are just a few ounces. If you replace them both, you'll be lucky to save 3 pounds. Not worth the effort as far as I'm concerned, but then again, I'm not a big fan of humping my center console to try and roll the passenger window up or down.

Here is a great thread about weight savings. This member found that manual windows weighed the same.
