'92 TA GFX Removal

Trying to remove the front PS and DS lower GFX from my TA as I disassemble the front end. I have all the 10mm bolts removed from the PS piece, as well as the 2 small sheetmetal screws that attach it to the fender lip, and the single 10mm nut that secures it to the nosecone. It is still attached pretty good, and I think I can see some adhesive that is holding the upper portion of the GFX to the lower portion of the fender. Is this how it attaches? Is tugging and pulling the best way to pull it free of the adhesive, or is there a better way? Obviously, I fear breaking the piece!

Thanks for any tips.

Also get a sharp puddy knife it helps! I had to replace mine about two years ago.
