Lights in the door panels
So what do you all think? Last week I installed some LEDs in my door panels to light up the door handle and door lock switch at night. The pick really does not show how good the LED light looks at night.

I think its a cool idea. Are they on all the time? When the interior lights are on? Where is the LED located (I noticed you pictures one passenger and one drivers door).
Cool idea even though I dislike thirdgen interior door handles with a passion. If the LED color is orange like i think it is in the pic then it would match the guages very well. As long as it isn't too obnoxious and doesn't reflect off the windows blinding your eyes at night - then its awesome.

No they are wired to the dimmer switch-talk about a PITA to route the feed wires though the rubber boots in the door jams. The LEDs are located towards the rear of the door handle.(Look at the first pick you will see a round object coming out of the door handle plate).

Yes the LEDs are orange in color.I will take one more pick.HOLD ON!

I like it alot and you gave me an idea. Mount the LED somewhere behind the handle to give it the "backlight" look.

my '98 bonneville has red LEDs built in the door like that. they light up the handle and window conrtols. I think it is a great idea and looks awsome at night.

I finally got off my butt and put in the LEDs that I had for the same purpose. They are the same color as my instrument panel.
