DOORS?

I am trying to decide on what to do with my doors I have a 83 berlinetta with power doors and the drivers door is rusted out on the bottom and the passenger one is okay but the power window dont work most the power stuff dont work on my doors just the drivers side window but that seems to be getting weak. There is a 1991 camaro RS in the junkyard with non power doors and they seem to be okay shape better then mine I was told by other people that I could put non power doors on it and cap the wires need opinions has anyone tryed to do this do you think i should?

I have power in one of mine and non in two others.. the power comes in handy sometimes. you can easily cap the wires. that no problem at all. in fact if you are going to convert them both to non-power and leave them that way forever you can unhook the wires from the switch. put caps over them (i have use a male connector with the rubber surrond for this and then filled the end with silicone). and that would pretty much tke care of it. the power oprion puts a bit of weight into the doors. I know the 84' doors are alot lighter than my 83 berlinetta doors

doors are not really that hard to get off.. took my about an hour to get two doors off. nothing to it really as long as you have the needed tools. The only time it is hard is if you can not open the door all the way open. at least in my experience
