Door hinge problem

I was just about to start on rebuilding my hinges, and I noticed that the driver's side pin is messed up. I'm sorry for the bad picture, but it's the best I could do in low light. Does anyone know of GM still makes that pin and bushing, and what the part # is?

I am sure they do, you can also get them at your local auto parts store. Unless you're talking about the deterent roller them talk to Lonsal here on the boards.

I'm replacing the hinge pins with the greaseable kit. But thanks for the roller/stud information... that's what I'm referring to.

Aww come on guys, is sucks to not have the deterent springs in, the door always closes on you and it can be dangerous. I was in the same situation but I made my own spring compressor and I am back in business. Either make one, buy one, or take the springs to a body shop and pay to have them compressed.

the spring tool is only about 20.00 and available through any tool truck or paint and body supply house. only takes a couple minutes with correct tool. hawks has all the hinge parts nec to correctly repair sinking doors. including the redisigned heavy duty pins.
