Weatherstripping/seal protection question

Does anyone have any good experience with a product to protect door, trunk, etc weatherstripping / seals?

Not looking for Armor All for this application.

I have a 1991 TA and am seeing that the seals are currently being discontinued. I would like to find a product that will extend the life of my existing seals.

I was advised by a friend at GM that the service department uses Dupont Krytox product to preserve seals and eliminate squeeking. However, the product is $200 for a 1 lb container.

Thanks for any suggestions.

GM's Silicone Emulsion. It's the stuff my dad has laying around that he says to use on my t-top seals. He got it from work (he's a GM tech). It's an old bottle. I'm pretty sure its AC Delco Silicone Emulsion now. Anyway, the part number I found is #10953014

Go to your local dealer and get a bottle.

Thanks for the information.

I was also advised to use a product called 303 Aerospace Protectant through another post.

303 Products is a manufacturer of many cleaners and protectants.

Link is 303 Products - Aerospace Protectant, Fabric Cleaner, Car Care Kits
