Lower front valance ?

I bought a 1989 RS Camaro with what looks like a 1987 Lt front fascia. The one with the 3 air slots gust above the front licence plate. It also has the flat bottom so it wont take a standard valance. My question is ; Dose any one have more info on this particular fascia and were to get a valance for it?
Thanks
Ron

You have a bumper cover from an earlier Sports Coupe/Berlinetta. I dunno about the exact years, but inorder to install front ground effects, you're going to have to get a Z28/IROC style bumper cover.

Are there any aftermarket front spoilers for my Berlinetta fascia ?

Has anyone found a option for a front spoiler on the sports coup/
Berlinetta
bumper cover/fascia? I
really
hate to get rid of
it,but
it just looks so strange with out front ground
effects.My
car is a 1989
RS,but
someone put a
different
fascia on it before my
purchase
.

Like I said, there is simply no way to mount front ground effects to a SC/Berlinetta style bumper cover. The only way to mount it would require a Z28/IROC style bumper cover. You'll have to replace the one you have.

there is an aftermarket kit to put gfx on the sportcoupes utilizing the sportcoupe/berlinetta front/rear bumpers but i can't think of the name off the top of my head...but it would be cool to find just the front valance.

actually, do a search for Camaroguy18. he has an 87 sportcoupe that has the aftermarket kit. he put an 85-90 front bumper cover and gfx on it so he took off the sportcoupe front bumper cover/gfx...you might do a search for him and see if he still has that one in his possession....

here is a picture of the old bumper cover on his car with the aftermarket valance:

it may have been classic industries, i honestly don't know who makes them, but i do know that you could get them as a dealer install type of thing or buy them and put them on yourself, but again, i have no idea if they are still available.

hey, just saw the thread...unfortunatly the front valance I had was too beat up to really salvage so it's gone ....but to be honest it was so large and out of place from most angles, I had people refer it to looking like a boat.....wasnt pretty.

I bought the car with the kit on it, so I cant say for sure where it came from, but IIRC I thought I saw it in a JCwhitney catalog, so check there
