Why won't the turn signals work

Ok i finaly decided it is time to fix the turn signals on my firebird, i have had it for about a year, when i first got it the signals worked fine, then the started to act up. The best description i can give is when the signals are turned on either nothing will happen, or the signals will cause a weird buzzing sound from the dash and the lights will stop working, all the lights work and the signals won't work on either side of the car, has anyone had this problem, what could be causing it and how do i fix it.

Any help on this topic would be great, cuz everywhere i go they tell me to replace the flasher in the fuse box under the dash, done it and it didn't help.

any burnt out bulbs anywhere? otherwise i'd think it was the flasher as well, might have better luck on the electrical board.
