special canadian thing?
When i was taking my interior out, i found a canadian quarter on each of the frame rails under the interior.
The carpeting was never removed by the previous owners, i am the first one to give the car some love.
Anyone else found anything like this in their car?
Sheldon

Who knows what might've happened or why. I had a friend who was always complaining about the noise in the driver's door. Turned out to be a coke bottle.

everytime I part a third gen I usually end up with at least $5 in change from under the center console, carpet and dash, Is your coincidence special maybe, is finding change in evey car I part good, I would say so! I'm still saving for my third gen Iroc, but when I striped my '89 escort (I know, F*rd), my buddies and I found something like 35 cents in various change, two legal clips, a paper clip, and a build sheet or something.
We also found a hole straight through the floor, but that got tallied in the losses column.

I happened to get a smokers car (though it doesn't smell like that at all). I found 2 crack pipes that were wedged between the center console and the carpeting when I stripped the interior. That and like $20 in change

I found two fifty dollar bills, a butterfly knife, and like a 1/8th bag of bud hidden under the carpet up behind the clutch pedal in an old car I bought years ago.. and I only paid $300 for the car to begin with!

I like looking through the cars people trade in at work. ( i work at a dealership) found a 1/2" drive flex head ratchet, binoculars, tons of change. CDs, knives, old stinky food you name it.

I found a bunch of tools behind my dash. No clue how they got there. I also found enough money to buy a pack of ciggys. I bought my car for $75 from my friends bro. He had it stored at some garage run by bikers. They told him to get rid of the car, or else they'd break his knee-caps.

Only 2 cig butts? My car was owned by a lady that smoked. I'm still finding lipstick covered cig butts in my car
I pulled out a lot from the center console already but every time I go in there another pops up outta nowhere. She also lost the spare tire hold down so there was a big fluffy lion pillow holding the spare tire from banging around LOL. Then a couple of probably used life savers candies between the trans tunnel and rear seats. Haven't pulled the carpet up yet so it'll be interesting when I do. Also in the little cubby hole in the back, there was a ton of stuff. Power steering stop leak, trans fluid, motor oil and brake fluid. Well I soon found out why the power steering stop leak was in it, the box leaked like crazy.

Had the car in at the tranny shop and it was squeaking so the guy had it back up on the hoist and was poking the screw driver everywhere and found a magnetic keybox with a brand new door lock key in it...Wish I had known about that before when I locked myself out of the car numerous times lol
After tearing out the carpet in my car I found about $30 in change (mostly mine) and about $10 in american money. Found all sorts of weird looking bugs ive never seen in canada before (dead of course) and that was about it really...
