4 Gen Outside Mirror

99 4th Gen Firebird. Drivers side outside mirror has cracked interior mounting casting. Can this be replaced or must a whole new mirror be purchased?

I will try to answer this quickly, as it will get yanked since this is not a 3rd gen related question.

If you get a used one, you can piece them back together, but as far as I know, I have never seen anywhere to purchase just the casting. I would guess that if you don't find one used, you'll have to purchase new.

Dont mean to sound like a jerk, but there are countless LS1 boards out there. ls1tech.com, ls1.com, lt1ls1.com... ect ect...

I mean... I know that us 3rd gen owners are the **** an all...

Thank you so much for the response. It looks like an easy fix but you are correct in that the Pontiac Dealer states that the whole assembly (which includes the motor) must be purchased .... and then painted!
If I can find a used mirrior, all I need is the internal casting. My unit, motor & mirror is fine and already painted.
Thanks Again.
