Door window loose...

On the driver side door, my windows is loose and wobbles back and forth a little. I know I need to replace the weatherstrip that goes around the door at the bottom and there is virtually no rubber where there is supposed to be right above the door handle. Any way to get the tightness back in. I hate the sound of glass rubbing against metal on the way up or down.

you might need to replace the felt on the window guide inside of the door. i had a similar problem. it sounds like theres a whale in your car whenever you roll the window up or down? i had vertical scratches towards the center of my glass, too. my car got broken into and that window got smashed. when i went to replace it, the guys at the glass shop said it was that little piece of felt. you might try taking a look inside the door.

He's referring to this:

You can find them at ClassicIndustroes for 9.95 each, but you should get at least two and change both of them on that window.
