i got some rust on that metal trim that surrounds the hatch glass. what is the best way to go about removing /painting this, since its such a small area? has anyone else had this problem?

I wire brushed all the loose rust off, then por15-ed it then primed and painted close as possible to color of car...works and looks great and you can only tell up close if its been messed with.

I sanded off the rust and topped it off with some engine paint. That was a year or two ago and it still looks great. But POR-15 would probably be better. I just didn't know about it at the time.
