Yea, I'd do it in the ashtray. Hidden from plain view, but easy access when needed. Either that or run it off of you fog light switch. (If you don't have fogs)

If you're going to do it in the ashtray, put it underneath the removable metal ash collector, then replace the metal part so if a crook were to look in there (for keys or anything) it would look stock.

It's an exhaust cut out, why go through all the trouble of having to remove the ash tray every time? I second the fog light idea.

I should have said it as more of an opinion than a command haha. I know that if I had spent as much time as you guys have working on your car, I would want to keep my car as safe as possible. Most of you guys have spent 2-300 hours on your car, some of you probably 700+ and to have it disappear during a 10 minute trip to the kwik-e-mart would simply suck. To me the extra 5 seconds to remove and replace the tray would be worth it. Thats just my two cents though. I havn't decided where I'm going to put mine yet.

I just have mine rest on the carpet in between the center console and the seat. Well, the wires are there, and the switch rests on the carpet at the front right part of the seat.
