Need Help, Wiring Diagram Needed

I've posted about this within one of my other threads, but I don't think many seen it.

I need the wiring diagram of the C-100 Terminal for both an 84 and 91 Camaro.

I want to do the dash swap this weekend, and really need these diagrams to see which wires are the same, and which are not.

I bought a Chiltons Manual #8260 hoping it would have what I need. But instead on several pages it says to 'see page 8a-12 for C-100 terminal' But there is no page 8a-12!!

I contacted Chiltons about it, and they told me to contact Haynes. So far Haynes hasn't been any help either. Does Chiltons use Haynes diagrams or something?

Is there anyone here with a Haynes manual? I've attached a diagram I found for C-100 (also called the bulkhead connector) for reference of what I'm looking for, this one is for an 85 and I was able to find it searching this forum. Does your manual have a diagram like this for 84 and 91? If so, could you PLEASE scan it for me and send it to me?

I really hope someone here has it, because I'm stuck until I can get a copy of each.

Thanks
Chris.

I'm sure hoping somebody has either of these diagrams.

I'm really stuck until I can get them, and I was really hoping to start this dash swap tomorrow.

Hi,
Thanks I checked it out, but couldn't find anything there either.

Does anyone know to which manual, the example I attached came from?

I've search Chiltons, Haynes, and now Miltons, and none of them have anything like that.

That is from a GM Factory service manual. I have one for a 90, C100 is the same on 90 and 91, but I don't have a scanner. I can fax you a copy.

Hope this helps, I work at a chevy dealer so I may be able to get my hands on the other one, if we still have it.

Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been trying everywhere looking for this!

I have an 85 Berlinetta C100 diagram that I found, I heard it's the same as the 84, but not 100% sure. I know some of those had digital dashes, so not sure if that makes a difference or not?

I dunno about the 84-85 comparison, but if you need it, I can look around here and see if I have a 84 service manual layn around.

If you happen to see an 84, that would be great. I just did a match up of the wires from the 90 and 85. Most match up, there a few that moved around, and a few on the newer one, that I wont' even need.

I have a few questions maybe somebody might know.

On the 85, there are 2 backup lights pins.
G8 and F8.
F8 confuses me, it says backup, but then also Charging system? How do I know which one to use?

Since my 84 is a carb, E6 is the choke heater. There is no matching pin on the newer harness. But I think the last time I took it in, the shop hooked my choke directly off of the battery. So I think I should be OK, just not doing anything with that. Right?

A7 on the 90 harness says emissions controls. There is no emission control that I can see on the 85. So I can just ignore that pin correct?

D4 and E4 are the speed sensor wires. That is where I'll need to hook the wires from the VSS I still need to install right?

Here is the 85 one I found.

Anyone know about those couple wires I listed above?

I'm happy to know I only have to move a few of them!! Once I figure out these last few, I think I'll try and get this dash installed!

Well tomorrow, I'm going to move the wires I know need to be changed. Not sure what to do about those few weird one those yet.

If anyone knows the answers to my questions above, please let me know.

I'm really hoping to get the dash in tomorrow or on Monday, and hopefully be able to get the car started again!!! (fingers crossed, that it starts!)

OK, after about 5 hours of trying to get the dash to fit right, I got it in there.

I hooked up some of the wires I knew matched, but there are some that aren't matching up to the 84.

I found that one of the connectors that are on the steering column, doesn't match the connector on the new dash (different shape). So going to need to find a way to make that work.

I also found that these 2 connectors (see attached) look the same as the one on the 84 dash, but the wires are different. Anyone know what these 2 connectors are for? They look like they may go to the computer, but not sure.

They are on the passenger side, right above the footwell.

I want to know what these are for, and what each color wire does for each year before I plug them in.

Hope someone know!
