May have to drill new mounting holes on some years but any year should fit to the metal body.

First I want to say welcome to the site. You'll find a lot og info and help here.I know I have.
Like EvilCartman stated it shouldn't be to much of a problem swapping to the '85 up GFX on your '84.The side skirts and door pieces will be a direct bolt on as will the small extensions on the rear quarters. The big changes are in the nose and rear bumper cover.Chevy changed the Camaro's front bumper cover for '85.I'm not sure whether the '85 up lower front GFX/airdam will bolt up to the '84 nose.It will probably work with a few modifications. You may want,or have to change.the front bumper cover to complete the affect. On the rear bumper cover I don't think the '84's GFX will line up as the '85 and later were deeper.Good luck on your swap and keep us up on your progress.

i think the 82-84's look pretty sharp, definately not seen every day.
...then top it off with a cowl hood, they can look pretty sweet!

84 your camaro looks pretty straight from your pictures, i'd just sand it down and hit it w/ some primer, would look a lot better after a couple hours work.
...tell'n ya, you should leave the current gfx's as is, don't see them everyday.

yeah, in order to do the complete 91-92 conversion, I had to change both the front and the rear bumpers

When putting your g/f on your 84, did yiu have to make any modifications. I want to do the same to mine but I dont want to buy the effects and I have to make mods. So did everything fit properly?

You will have to swap bumper covers.Especially the front as there is no way the later gfx will bolt up to your 84s bumper.Tried to on mine, as i prefer the look of the early bumper.I ended up doing a combo by using the front of the 84 & rear (fender) portion of the later GFX.The rear bumper is a simple bolt on.

IMO a clean stock looking 82-84 Z28 is very nice.

Re: 84 Z28 Camaro Ground Effects mix up?
Its the nose that distinguishes the early cars from the later ones, plus the taillights. The Rr bumper & side skirts arent all that much different.Thats why i kept my front bumper & the forward part of the gfx w/ its little vents.
What i dont dig is how the shorter skirts expose the pinch welds/rocker panels along the sides.
