Firebird nose swap question
Aside from the actual cover and support bar what all has to be changed to put a 91-92 nose on a 90 Formula? So far my list has the nose, support, absorber and impact bar. Also, except for the bezels and the headlights themselves how much of the headlight assembly will I have to change? I'd like to keep my headlight doors if possible.

You're going to need the whole front clip. I just did the Knight Rider Conversion on my car and unless you're good with bodywork, you're better off replacing the headlight bezels. The 82 -90 bezels have that plastic lip that will get caught on the nose. E-Mail me at Maverick557114@aol.com if you need detailed instructions on how to modify the headlight bezels. I did a fairly decent job on mine. If you want pictures I'll take some for you.

Thanks but I have everything (nose, support, absorber, impact bar, both headlights, filler panel and turn signals) for the job. Had a bit of a disaster this weekend with my other vehicle so the swap may get delayed.

Yes I am. He was able to come up with everything after we talked on the first day. I ran into a couple of "small" problems but he's working with me on getting the parts. Dave is the man!

Ahah! So you're the guilty party! lol. I saw that nose on his site and e-mailed him to buy, but he said someone else was before me...now I know who!
Seriously though, good luck on the swap...and you are right, Dave is the man.

Guilty as charged! He's also found the impact bar, absorber, filler panel, turn signals and headlight assemblies. Should be a direct swap, the only pain will be getting it painted but I'm working on that already. Why you need one Bull? Something happen to your Formy?

Naw, the Formy is alive and well (knocking heavily on wood). But, that nose is the same color as my car, and I believe in collecting spare parts!
You'd better post some pics of your new look.
