'92 RS anniversary/ crime edition car
So I just picked up a '92 RS 5.0 liter with a bad tranny for $350. The car is drivable but has no 3 or 4th gears and looks as if it were a crime accessory. By which I mean there is a bullet hole (approx. .45 cal) in the hood that is directly in line with drivers seat and cracked windshield, evidence of what looks like second bullet hole repair in driver side door, screwed up driver seat (chunks of foam and cloth missing in line with what looks to be a repaired bullet hole), shotty repaint job, and has been in an accident that left the drivers side rear quarter ruined and the driver side front fender beat up.
Now the car is T-top and arctic white... haven't run a carfax on it, but the question is do I part it out or save it? The undercarriage is beautiful, no rust around any of the wheel wells (strange for a MI car) no bondo other than in the door. ****edited content**** The passenger side looks beautiful, and the driver side would be good with a new quarter and fender + paint.
Opinions? If you believe it should be parted, let me know what you want and how much you'll pay for the parts.

why'd you buy it? it sounds like it's in really bad shape. does it atleast run well? is it a tbi or tpi car? you can recover a good bit of your money selling a full tpi setup

thats true...you could just part it out and get more money than you payed for it towards another car. most tpi systems on ebay go for at the very least 300 if they come with the ecm and everything. good luck with it

Believe it or not I bought the car solely to part it out. The aero trim and other features the car has will bring in a little bit of money, not to mention all the parts I can use for my '91. basically, if I sell everyhting I don't need and break even, I am fixing my car for free
ok exactly how clean is the underbody? is it really 100% rust free? if its even slightly rusted u should just part it out. i can be so hard to get a wrecked car straight sometimes
