Got a little overzealous with an onramp.. ended up in the guard rail. Went somewhat parallel with the curved rail, so the front and back end got crunched. Bleh. I'm considering bringing it into the bodyshop, but before I do, anyone have some idea of what the cost I might be faced with? The damage is kind of awkward.. heh.

Also, I still have my other (non-running) '82, with a relatively intact body. Could I possibly reduce the cost if I supplied them with better pieces to work with? I'm a newbie when it comes to this. =X

If you have the same bumper and fender from your other car, just put it on yourself. It's not hard, and it'll save you money, instead of having the shop do it. Then you only have to have them fix the rear. Just my thoughts though.

the rear quarter is gonna be a little expensive probaly if you get it done right the fender just do it yourself very easily

thirdgens are allergic to overzealous drivers and quarter panels aren't cheap

front wont be to bad to repair but the rear quarter isnt going to be pretty. Unless your good with body work or know someone that is it's gonna cot alot... the rear is relativelt thin metal you could get it out by way of hammer and dolly but the wheel well i have no idea its creased pretty well.
