Tubular Front End...

My previous third gen suffered from a horrible accident almost a month ago. while she is still in good shape otherwise, the front end is pretty much ruined.

07 trailblazer decided to make a right hand turn from the left lane... anyways....

the whole subframe, and what not is pretty muhc part of the car on these vehicles...

Has anyone cut back almost to the firewall, and installed a nascar style tubular front end on these with fiberglass panels...

the car has a lot of sentimental value, hence the reason i never got rid of it.

Bascially, what are the complications, if you weld the tubular front end to the body, what would be a problem there?

a chassis shop CAN do it..... if you can afford it. it is not cheap.

even a simple mod on a good frame costs a couple to a few thousand.. example: (not my car btw)

when you're doing that stuff, you need to measure it yourself.

and if you cant, then you shouldnt be doing that kind of chassis stuff to begin with.
