Restoration help from Chevrolet
Here is the phone number for customer service at Chevrolet. You can recieve a restoration pack free from them. You need to give them the vin number of the vehicle you are restoring. The owner of Mother Truckers gave me this number rather than selling me a copy of the assembly guide. It's nice to find someone running a buisness that actually cares about the customer and not just making a dollar. Here is the number; 1-800-222-1020.. Just order mine for my 71 c10 and my 85 z28

so i went and ordered mine today, but since im canadian, i have to pay 55CAD. i said "pfft, nothanks". i phoned up the US chevrolet, and told her to send it to a shipping company, now i have to pay 15 buks instead of 55. even tho i have to pay im really excited, its got origional tech info and specs on my car in a 30page booklet. and i even found out that my car has a seatbelt recall and i should go to the dealership.

Nope, all you need is an address for them to send it too, and a Vin #.
I took a Vin from a junk yard car and called. They asked about it because they knew they had sent me one for my 91, but I just told them I bought another one and wanted the packet. They said "OK, just wanted to check."
But don't expect anything specific to your particular vehicle. It's just a general info packet about that model year. I don't even know why they ask for a VIN #, but they do I still think that it's still worth getting.
