Door hinge repair question?

Has anyone used the door hinge repair kit from TDS? If so, how did you like it and how hard was it to install? Thanks

i've been reading all the reviews on here, and everyone seems to love them.

I ordered a set just this morning, so I'll report back once I get them installed.

Night and day difference. You also should get the GM Door Spring Tool and the E-Z Store Door Alignment Tool.

Those springs are dangerous little things and the doors will need alignment.

I would have easily paid 40 for that freekin thing. Such a major pain in the ***. I was even thinking of welding the doors shut like the Duke boys.

Hi,
Just wanted to check back in on the new hinge pins.

I just got done installing them, and they make a world of difference!!
The door doesn't flop around at all anymore, shuts nice and smooth.

They are well worth the money, and even better you don't have to try and weld a whole new hinge onto the door either!!

I've added all three things to my restoration list. Thanks for the feedback.

I actually ordered some last Friday, got them yesterday and took them down to the body shop today. They need to put them in, they are still primering and sanding and then paint, I should have my car Friday or Monday.
