Gas Flap

im tring to slim down the look of my camaro i dont like the little finger pull on the stock gas flap and i also dont like that its plastic so im either going to make one or preferably buy one but i want one that is flush and when u push it in it pops out or worse case some sort of cable system from inside the cab to pop it open i just want it to be really flush.

I've heard some members have used a gas door from a Pontiac Fiero, those doors utilise a interior cable pull IIRC.

I've looked into it a little, But I have no idea what modifications would be needed to make it work/fit right. I guess you'd have to have the parts around to check.

I decided to go with the optional metal locking door, when I can find one, If you want a smooth look you might be able to get one of those and fill in the lock hole and rig some sort of solenoid remote release.
