Yes i have an issue that i just discovered and hoping someone may have some info or help for me. if its possible to fix... the part that holds the control arm to the body on the driver side the rear .. is rusting worse than i tho0ught where its rattling now..... unlike other parts u can jsut fillin, replace ot whatever, im not sure how, or if i can replace or mend the part that is rusting off.... the passenger side is starting to do that too but its not as bad (and prob can savee) than the driver side which is mostly rusted.. its a 92 camaro 25th anniversairy edition. if u need more info. please ask . if anyone has fixed a problem like this or any suggestions (besides junking it which im not). please let me know ty ..

Thats a tricky spot to fix because moving it even slightly will greatly affect your suspension geometry
Bearing in mind that the only way to fix rust is to cut it out and replace the void with new metal...
I would go stock up on a few sheets of steel and some angle iron
Now make a jig that bolts in multiple places to the body and the LCA bracket
This gives you the exact original position
Now take the jig off and cut the rust out. Use the jig to align the bracket for reinstallation
On a side note you could get the SFCs with the LCA bracket already on there and jsut weld those in (Bandaid, the problem is still there), or just relocate your LCA brackets. Word of caution for the relocated brackets, 9/10 member of this site that do it will simply eyeball it where it should go. This KILLs their geometry, they jsut dont know it
