Both doors now
Last year I went to the junkyard to buy a door for my car, it was one of those places that pull the parts off and have them stocked on shelfs. The door seamed solid and rust free possibly a southern car because cars up here the doors always have rust. But anyway paid like $175 that was a lot of money for 1 door but I thought it would be worth it since it was in very good shape put it on my car about 2 months later it came out of alignment were every time I hit a bump the door would pop open and would rub really bad when opening or shutting the door so re-aligned the door it was fine, then its doing it again I know its something in the door because we have all the bolts in it and I also put a drivers side door on and that only has like 2 bolts on the top and i think 3 on the bottom and that one stays aligned. So what should I do with the passenger door? The car that door came off was probably hit hard on that side and bent something
Right now in our local pick and pull junkyard they got 2 3rd gen camaro's with decent doors should I just get one of them and put it on my car and sell my other door?

Re: Passanger side door
Ok, I had a hard time figuring out what your asking
So you pulled a good door and aligned it
Now it pops open on its own from hitting a bump, and also scraps the fender when you open it
Right, sounds like your door may be aligned just fine but your fender is not aligned to it. If your door is aligned pretty good with the rear qtr, then you need to adj your front fender forward slightly. Option B is to move the lower fender bolt thats at the front of the rocker on the front fender. Moving it up/down adjusts the bow on the fender allowing more/less clearance if needed
Now for the door popping open... I dont think thats alignment related. Sounds more like you didnt mess with the latch and its not completely hooking when closed. There are 3 torx bolts holding it set, you can adjust even these. Use the wear pattern on the reciever pin to clue you into what direction you need to move the latch. If you max out the adj for the latch and it still doesnt hook completely, you can loosen the reciever pin and adj it slightly.
Good luck

Re: Passanger side door
The only thing I can think of to help you out would be lock tight. Put some on the bolt threads if they keep loosing up on you.

Re: Passanger side door
After I tightened them the 2nd time they stayed tight but that did not stop the door. I will take a video of the door when driving that might help.
