Does anyone have any pictures of por 15 after it has been applied? I would really like to see what it looks like. THANKS

You're going to have to cut back on the Guiness, all your pics are a bit blurry, either that or it's the Crown & Ginger I've been drinking.

 

mmm, i do like me guinness....alot. But this time I have to blame my phone, its crappy camera is the only thing i have right now.

 

i thinned the por and shot it through a paint gun.

Just be advised that if you decide to spray the POR, you need some seriously professional respirators. That stuff is nasty.

Hey spartyon, did you spray or brush that rear end? It really looks good.

 

Used a brush for everything. The header paint needs a caution/warning label. After sitting for about 30 minutes it started eating through the plastic paint cup I had. That was some nasty stuff.

 

Its so thick that it evens itself out as it cures. You cant even tell that you painted it on with a brush.

How has the header paint held up?

 

 

Any pictures after it’s been sitting around a while? It’s supposed to fade when exposed to UV light, I wonder what that looks like.

 

I think the 2 above pictures show it a little bit. you can see the rust a little bit through the paint under the rear coil spring.

 

What rust? Those pictures were taken only a few days after it was painted and it still looks exactly the same, no fading.

 

It looks like pitted rust in the picture, but maybe its just airbubbles

 

Oh I see what you're talking about. That's dirt. There was a lot of it up in the spring pocket and on the coil spring.

on a lighter note

you do not have to clean the rust off of the part that you want to paint por 15 likes to adhear to rust it doesnt really like to stick clean surfaces. ill take some pics of my rear end and front wheel wells that i did to post the pics on here and i painted over rust and i think even a little dirt

 

Yeah I have no intentions of spraying it on. Most poeple brush it on so thats what I will do. I just bought my por15,marineclean and metal ready the other day so as soon as I am done prepping the underside of my car I'm gonna paint her up. Thanks for the warning though. Lets see those pics?
