Tie-rod Issue
Got some new tires the other day and wanted to get a wheel alignment. The problem was there was no clearance between the tie-rod end and the "center bar" it connects to on the passenger side to make the necessary adjustment. The two bars were almost touching. However, there was about 2-3 inches of clearance on the drivers side. As a result, the shop could not center the steering wheel to the two front tires. The car rides fine (no pulling or wobbling). It seems like something was not installed correctly. I don't know the correct names for the parts so please bear with me. Any suggestions on how to correct this?

Re: Tie-rod Issue
OK here is a better explanation.
I have almost no space (within the adjsutment sleeve) between the inner and outer tie-rods on the passenger side...they are almost touching. However the driver side has about 2 inches of sleeve space between the two tie rod ends. It seems like the center link is not lined up properly. Anyone know how to fix this?
