88 gta notch??? is this real?

the guy says the car is original, but i can obviously see the hood isnt, which leads me to believe its not a real notchback, also the seats look 4th gen? anyone else spot any fake stuff?

those are the correct backseats for a notchback only notch back cars had the built in headrests, and it appears to be a real GTA too, no way of really telling unless they take a pic of the vin stamping on hatch or if they have rpo sticker

Well there is a possibilty that the the car is a real gta notchback but the owner must of put an after market hood on it which I think looks bad a** (can any one tell me what type of hood it is?) and as for the seats they might of just been a swap; things you should look for in a GTA are: that it doesn't have air vents in the fenders, a gold phoenix bird should be on the center of the taillights and in the interior console there should be a code which reads "Y84"; all GTAs have that code. Hope this helps. L8r

Everything looks legit. The rear seats had to of come from a Notchback because TTAs only had tan interiors(they shared the head rests in the rear seats), the Pontiac is in gold on the headlight bezel, the notckback has glass with defrost, which I don't think any aftermarkets do, plus it has the ridge down the center.

the hood is a ram air style 1, you can order them from hawks 3rd gen, they are based off of the 93-97 ws6 stlye t/a hood, i bought one for my firebird just waiting to get it painted.

i would agree that it looks legit...it has the correct hatch pistons..and also seems to have the corrct connections for the rear defroster wires..(not the same as a regular hatch.)..not a bad ride..just my 2 cents
