Yes, I did the opposite, I put a 1992 Firebird hatch on my 89 Iroc, fit perfectly. I took off the firebird spoiler & filled in the holes. I picked up a brand new 1992 Hi-rise Iroc spoiler I plan on installing soon. I wired the high 3rd brake light to work. The 89 had the 3rd brake light in the spoiler.
