Hawks 3rd Gen Spoiler for my TTA is not fitting,help!!!

Hawks 3rd Gen Spoiler for my TTA is not fitting,help!!!
Ok after waiting for 5weeks for GT fiberglass to not deliver the spolier,I calledd Hawks and bought their spolier for my TTA,paint shop finally finished paint on the car (5months)
and they call and say the spoiler that we painted doesnt fit from side to side,seems like an "inch" to short form side to side ........
anyone experience this problem,surley I cant be the only one,or am I looking at this spoiler wrong,please help...

After waiting close to a year for my painter to finish, I had the same problem. Width of the arms are too narrow. Managed to get the spoiler to mount using the mounting points closest to the tips of the arms by pulling them open and praying they wouldn't break. No way the mounting points lower on the glass would work for me.
