Painting T-Tops

How do I paint my T-Tops? I seen a piture of a new GT500 Stang and it had a painted sun roof and i like that.

I would assume you'd have to make the glass abrasive, frost / bead blast it, primer / paint...

A cheaper / less destructive method would be vinyl... like they make car stickers / flames / pictures with... or ape wrap some company calls it...

Wouldn't be able to see through them with either of those options...

I know the Flag / Eagle / I carry Guns window banners they put in the back of pickups (seems like there are a bunch of little holes) let you see out but not in... you sure the mustang's were painted??

Chances are that Mustang has a fiberglass or steel panel, and not a "glass" panel.

The few times I've seen painted t-tops, they looked like a Maaco disaster.

you could find a set of lexan's and paint them....wont have much visibility tho

i'm gathering... unless i find a shop that has done this before and has expirence; i shouldn't bother because i may come out with the opposite of what i was reaching for?
