You'll get both kinds of opinions here, as well as those who don't like either. Go with what you feel you like better; it's your car.

Well. I love the black.. But ive always been a black car guy... But i like the red sort of... I think there is to much red on the wheels. Maybe have the lip black and i would like it better. And im not sure im digging that stripe... Maybe do racing stripes instead?? or get clear side markers??

yea i figured the red would be a bit overpowering im most likly going to go with the black i will have a cowl hood on it soon though and i was thinking of doing a matte black in between the lights and onto the cowl but the rest of the car would be gloss what do you guys think of that?

All black for sure. In the long run it'll look better (classy and gaudy) and if you do have to sell it you'd get more money (or atleast sell it easier). I also would say get some nice polished rims- even the Iroc rims would be an upgrade.

Re: opinions on my plans
All black with the polished rims. Kinda mean looking. I had an all black 85 T/A but it had the gold rims on it. Not quite as nice. I always loved the big Impala SS when they first came back with rear wheel drive. All black with a very nice aluminum rim (OZ i think they were) There was a great magazine ad at the time that simply showed the car from the side with the caption "Lord Vader, your car is ready"
