Re: Any pics?????
Don't cut the hole.
I cut the dreaded hole (10"x10") in my car (but welded it back, ground and painted it) and it didn't do me any good. I had to drop the tank anyway. I don't know if yours is like my bird, but it had rigid fuel lines that wont bend enough to get the pump out...unless you basically hack most of the rear panel out.
If I ever have to change a pump again, which I'm sure I will on the next project I won't even consider hacking out the sheetmetal.
It's your car, do what you want.
Just my

WRONGGGGG. hahah i did it in one night. It was super easy. Dotco is great to cut the hole. Then you use either tin strips or wire cutter to cut the lines. Once they are seperated you cut the lines with a pipe cutter. nuff said

Re: Any pics?????
The only thing I would be woryed about is fuel leaks there is over 50 psi there on a tpi so I wouldn't trust hose clamps and fuel line. The only way I would do it is flareing the lines but I'm sure thats too much of a hassel for someone who didn't want to drop the tank to change a fuel pump. I know it sucks but it only takes about 3 hours to do it right.
