91-92 Aero Spioler Mounting

When I bought my Bird the spoiler was in bad shape, but I am getting a new one this weekend. The old one didn't have any, but is there a gasket or something that mounts between it and the deck lid?

Thanks

I forget exactly what goes there, but I went to Home Depot and bought some large diameter rubber washers/gaskets along with using some of that black rtv to guarantee it doesn't leak water in. No leaks in years. I believe I went overkill and used the same washers on both sides of the decklid when I bolted it down.

Anyone else know? I set the new spoiler on the car and its like the old one, there is a slight gap where it looks like it should seal.
