Front Bumper Cover, Ground Effects, Body Kits
Front Bumper Cover, Ground Effects, Body Kits
I was wanting to put a body kit on my 92, but they don't make very many for this body style. I found one that i thought would look good, but i don't like the side or the rear.
heres a link to it,

I have the 25th thats black with red stripes. In good condition, minus a cracked front bumper that needs to be replaced, and i was looking to buy a new one, when i got this idea to add the newer bumper above.
also, add the ram air hood here,

Repaint the stripes onto the raised part on the hood, not all the way down the front onto the bumper cover.
I'm looking for a nice set of black leather seats out of a newer camaro so that i can start on the interior. The carpet will be replaced with leather, or similar, as well as the headliner and sun visors.
I need help picking out a set of wheels, i have looked at thousands and can't seem to find the perfect set yet, i thought it was gonna be the zo6 wheels but i changed my mind.
If anyone can help me out in finding the seats and the best looking wheels, and even a LT1 or better for the engine upgrade, or even any other things that i should do i would appreciate all input.

I think the front bumper looks pretty good. Different paint would make it nicer of course. In my opinion though a ram air hood would be a little too much. but hey it would be different.

if your looking at it correclty it kinda looks like a 94+ firebird how its pointing out and stretched, also how the curves lay out like that, just without the pop up headlights. camarorized firebird bumber would be a good word for the kit... and at the same time looks like its a 94+ camaro around the bottom part only.. where the air goes through the radiator.. they combined both and made that. i would guess... id say a better solid paint job would look nice and it might look sharper with some headlight covers. a very interesting bumber. it sure beats that nasty a$$ big mouth bumber ive seen in the internet.. that one is just nasty and its for kids who wants to rice out a american muscle car... now THAT'S not meant to be.

I agree the paint makes the lines look wierd. I think the idea of changing it is nice. I hav yet to see a kit for the odd ball 91-92 that really blows me away.

Well Ill be the first to say it, you got a nice 25th with black and red stripes, buy a replacement stock bumper cover and keep it orginal. Dont ruin a 25th ann. camaro with a nasty looking aftermarket bumper

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the big mouth mod is just painting the recessed part of the chin spoiler gloss black to match the grill. It's all still stock, just with slightly modified paint. At least, that's the big mouth I've seen.

Re: Front Bumper Cover, Ground Effects, Body Kits
i would not put that 4th gen lookalike front bumper on any 3rd gen. as for body kits. personally i think the 91-92 body kits are as good as you can get for a camaro. if you want to change the look i would maybe lower it and look in to a hood with a 2nd gen z28 hood scoop, or if you have the flat hood you could upgrade to the 3rd gen z28 louvered hood. rims....GTA rims powder coated black? you also may want to try looking at some truck 4X4 rims, I know they have some rims that i would never put on a truck but would look great on a muscle car. all of this is just my 2 cents and i would still do what you think is right even if others would not agree with you. your vision of a camaro with a body kit and a ram air hood could very well work, i just can see it.

Re: Front Bumper Cover, Ground Effects, Body Kits
Don't do it. . . It looks too much like 4th gen firebird. . . even the car in the photo had firebird-like air ducts on the fenders. I think it would ruin the look of the car. The lines just wouldn't flow- rounded up front, angular in the back. It'll look like someone couldn't make up their mind on what kind of F-Body they wanted. Just an opinion.
Its your car though. . .and do what makes you happy.
